You can learn about business by curating the events you go to.
I went to a unique one recently… the One Of A Kind Winter Show.
So what made it a good experience? Well…
1. People
Throughout the show, you were welcomed by friendly faces from both the staff members making it possible and the makers at each booth.
The team behind the event was easy to find and happy to answer any questions. Likewise, the vendors were excited to have conversations.
2. Atmosphere
The background music complemented the ambience, but it didn't overpower it.
Filled with a variety of vendors, it was like exploring many worlds all in one place.
What caught my attention was how differently each vendor presented themselves and their products. It came across in the way they designed their booth and business cards, displayed their products, and talked in conversation.
***
I think the show was a prime example of how creative people can be and how creativity exists in multiple forms.
It's found in the way you present yourself to the world. It's not just all the "big” art pieces or products you make. It's also in the everyday moments.
